Marion County Republican Party Endorses Local Candidates
(Marion) – The Marion County Republican Party proudly announces the following local endorsements:
· Judge Deborah Alspach, Marion County Family Court
Local party members are pleased to once again support Judge Alspach for re-election as our Family Court Judge. “Her work ethic and judicial temperament have served our community well over the past years,” reports John Matthews, Chairman, Marion County Republican Party.
· Lewis Holland for Marion County Auditor
Lew Holland will bring years of experience and knowledge to the county auditor’s office, and that is why we are supporting his candidacy for that position, said Chairman Matthews.
· Ken Stiverson for Marion County Commissioner
In a break from tradition, the Marion County Republican Central Committee has chosen to endorse in a primary race. The party members have chosen Mr. Ken Stiverson as their candidate for Marion County Commissioner. “We feel that both Republican Candidates would do a great job for the voters of Marion County, but feel that Mr. Stiverson’s forward-thinking vision, past service to our community, and positive outlook aligns with our foundational beliefs and hope for Marion’s future,” said Chairman Matthews.
